The response by the Scottish Agricultural College
(SAC) to the Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) consultation document
entitled Draft Scottish Outdoor Access Code (1)

The SAC kindly agreed that their response be reproduced in full
on the Land-Care website and provided the electronic copy to enable
Land-Care to do so.
Land-Care is grateful for the SAC for encouraging wider access
by the public to the views expressed in responses to the public
consultation (4). Land-Care believes that this
can help in encouraging a better understanding by the public of
the issues involved.
Land-Care may comment on the views expressed at a future date,
but the present purpose is to reproduce exactly what was submitted
by responders to the SNH consultation document. For other responses
to the SOAC please refer to the SOAC Homepage on this website.
Other organisations, groups or individuals who would like the
responses that they submitted to SNH to be more widely available
to the public on the Land-Care website are welcome and should
