the responses.

In order to facilitate access to the responses
received by SNH to its Draft Scottish Outdoor Access Code, Land-Care
would be pleased to respond to requests from its readers for a copy
of the excel spreadsheet that SNH has sent us. It will enable readers
to search for the names of organisations, groups or individuals
who have submitted responses to SNH and who have indicated no objection
to their responses being in the public domain. Full postal addresses,
email addresses, telephone and fax numbers are not given.
Once a reader has researched what responses he
or she wishes to read - and has identifed their numbers in the filing
system - then a visit to an appropriate SNH office is likely to
be much more fruitful.
It is suggested that readers may wish to contact
SNH in the first instance, but in case of delays or other difficulties
Land-Care would be pleased to provide this service. The purpose
is to provide information and insight into the concerns expressed
by the respondents and should have considerable educational value.
Land-Care would be pleased to publish on its website
full responses as submitted to SNH if respondents wish to send Land-Care
an electronic copy of their original submission, together with a
statement that they agree to it being published on the Lnad-Care
website.
At the time of writing the National Farmers Union
of Scotland (1) and the Royal Insitution of Chartered Surveyors
in Scotland (2) have agreed that their responses to the Code be
published on Land-Care. The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC)
has given verbal agreeement and Land-Care awaits receiving from
them the electronic copy for publication. The Scottish Landowners
Federation have, however, refused.
