Veterinary Hazards to Open Access to Enclosed Agrciultural Land

An Article by veterinarian Terry Raeside is published in LandCare Scotland Vol 1 pp 33-34 and is reproduced here by permission. It is in the form of a letter to the then Scottish Office (before the New Scottish Parliament was formed) and at the beginning of the consultative process regarding Land Reform (Scotland).

What he says in this article (letter) is as relevant today as it was then. Sadly, however, the politicians presently in power have paid little attention to it, further undermining the best efforts of those who manage Scotland’s livestock.
