Ruth Watkins to be on the TELE

Land-Care is reliably informed that Dr Ruth Watkins
is to be interviewed on HARDTALK by Tim Sebastien on TUESDAY 13th
May at 11:30pm, BBC News 24. For anyone who misses it, no doubt
there will be a repeat for very early risers (or insomniacs) at
a later date.
Much of the interview will probably be concerned
with SARS and the like. But remember how Ruth was, and continues
to be, so helpful and effective in getting across the message about
vaccination in the control of FMD and any future outbreak of FMD.
Ruth gave evidence to the Royal Society of Edinburgh
(1) and the Royal Society of London (2)
Foot and Mouth inquiries, and to other inquiries.
It should be a fascinating interview. Don’t
miss it!
